Alabama … is the best place for pictures!

While we were in Alabama, we took pictures at the “Pioneer Museum” and it was just beautiful. It had a train, an old school house and various other old pioneer buildings and things. We were there with our friends the Hornbergers and I had the opportunity to take picutres of Mimi and her daughter Maggie too. I’ll post those pictures in a bit. I would like you to see the ones of the girls that I took …. they ALL turned out so great …. but I’ll just show you a couple.

Alabama Hunt Camp

Hi all …. I am blogging to you from Alabama where we are camping with some dear friends of ours … the Hornbergers!!!! We are having a blast and are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving …. but last night we had a chance to go out to Eric’s hunt camp and hang out … he took Brie hunting with him … they saw a couple of deer but didn’t have a chance to shoot anything. But here are a few pictures of us out at camp!

Before and After!

Well we finally broke down and painted the house …. boy did it need it badly. Eric and I picked the color … went to Lowe’s and bought the shutters that I’ve wanted on my house FOREVER … but had to wait until we had it painted …. We LOVE the color … we LOVE the shutters … we just LOVE IT!!!! So … here are the before and after photos!

I don’t know if you can really tell, but it is a beautiful shade of green …. it looks so nice. It wasn’t very sunny on this day, so maybe I’ll get some better pictures once the sun comes out.

Pumpkins Done!!!

I thought the girls did a great job this year … every year they chose the face they want to put on the pumkins …. I help draw them and i also help cut too …. this year they look really really cool! Well I guess I say that EVERY year don’t I?LOL ….

Pumkin Carving …. a Howes Tradition

We love most holidays around here … the girls especially love going to the pumpkin patches and picking their pumpkins … they each get one and get to carve it.  So, we went to pick out the pumpkins and then tonight … they got to carve them …. so I’m going to start out with McKenna and end with Brieanna’s. Mia Sophia

Well you are just meeting our whole family! LOL ….. This is Princess Mia Sophia !!! LOL …. no seriously … she’s so spoiled … she has the fetish with McKenna’s bean bag and when McKenna has it out in the living room … she rolls around in it and grunts and makes the silliest noises …. it is so funny!

George

Who is George you ask …. well he is our “Georgie Porgie Pudin’ and Pie” … he’s the alpha romeo of all cats!!! He’s one of the coolest cats that I’ve personally ever owned … of course 2nd to my wonderful Shadow that I lost last year. He started out as Brieanna’s cat and has moved on to me mostly. I guess becuase I’m home more than Brie, I feed him, I pay attention to him … so yeah … he’s mostly my cat … when she’s not here … LOL …. But as you know I’ve been practicing with my camera and what a better subject to have pose for me!

Pointe Shoes

So I was browsing my favorite blogs and came across my friend Becky’s. I have been following her new adventure in opening her own Art Etsy Store and have loved a lot of the things that she is doing lately … UNTIL … I saw this. McKenna just started pointe. She doesn’t have the shoes yet because she isn’t 10 … those are the rules … she has to be 10 in order to get “the shoes” …. So right now she is learning the basic things you need to know before you can get your own shoes … she is doing wonderful … I of course think she has natural talent … from my mom of course … she was the dancer … me not so much! LOL ….. so anyway … I got this for her for Christmas … she doesn’t ever see my blog so that’s why I’m posting it here …. I just got it in the mail today and IT IS BEAUTIFUL…. my husband was speechless … he thought this was a beautiful thing to get her. Thank you Becky for a wonderful drawing. I wish you the best of luck in your business adventure.
